How to get to Landour  ?

Landour in Mussoorie is about an hour from the capital in Uttrakhand, Dehradun. The connectivity to Dehradun is pretty good from most of the metros.

Flights – We now have direct flights coming in from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore to Dehradun. Do keep in mind the airport in Dehradun ( Jolly Grant ) is almost 2-3 hours away from Mussoorie.

Trains – Mussoorie Exp, Nanda Devi, Shatabdi etc : You will have lots of options of trains coming from Delhi to Dehradun. The Dehradun Express runs from Mumbai to Dehradun and is a long train ride to Dehradun.

Volvos and Buses – Lots of options in terms of timings for Volvos and normal bus coaches running from Delhi to Dehradun. Takes about an 8 hour bus ride to Dehradun from Delhi. – http://utc.uk.gov.in/pages/display/55-volvo-time-table

Taxis – The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam ( GMVN ) has a 24hour call center and has pretty good deals on Taxis. So if you are a group of friends heading from Delhi, then GMVN can be a great option.( http://www.gmvnl.com/newgmvn/online_reservation/ )
